I was fortunate to have a job that brought me to the San Francisco Hyatt for a week each year to work a conference. I got to know that brutalist concrete building very well. This is the iconic receding balcony face of the building.

Architectural
My only formal photography training came at the UC Berkeley Architecture department. To this day my eye is pulled toward the way light and shadow dance on the face of a human-designed structure.
